We are currently looking for a Caretaker and Cleaner to work in Welburn School.

The hours are 7.5 caretaking and 14 hours cleaning.

This is a split hours role needing someone before and after school.  For this a job share could be considered. 


There is a caretaking role, working for NYCC as a Caretaker, you will be responsible for the security of the building, responding to emergency call outs as well as ensuring outside areas are kept safe and clean,

gritting, snow clearing and litter picking. You will support the

maintenance of the building by checking and replacing light fittings,

assisting with minor repairs and replacing consumables. For this you will be paid £8.68 per hour. The hours are between 7am and 7pm daily and totalling to 7.5 per week over 5 days.


Working for NYCC as a Cleaning Assistant, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming and the cleaning of sanitary fittings. Full training will be provided and the hours are between 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm daily, with some flexibility.  14 hours per week over 5 days. No weekend work! You will be paid £8.50 per hour. 
 Full training will be provided.
