Welburn CP School PTA, Reg. Charity no. 1089835

There is an established PTA at Welburn School. Our aim is to continue to develop a more extended relationship between the staff, parents and others associated with the school through fund raising and social events. All parents/carers/friends have automatic membership of the PTA.

Fund Raising

Ongoing fund raising:
Bags to school (recycling of clothing/shoes etc)
Supermarket Vouchers including Morrisons/Tesco and Sainsburys
Nestle Cereal Box top tokens – collection box in the school reception

Recent/Planned Fundraising Events:

Castle Howard Trail Race 16th July 2017
Christmas Raffle Annually in December each year
The PTA has raised a significant amount of money for the school which has been used to subsidise school trips and to purchase books for the library and computing equipment. We also organise and fund an annual panto for the children each December.

Meetings are held on a regular basis, at varying venues and times trying to offer flexibility for working parents. Details of forthcoming meetings are advised in the school's newsletter, the Welburn Weekly.
