Research

Our staff are life-long learners.

We hold  weekly training sessions throughout the term which helps us to keep developing and improving our school.

We love to keep up with the latest research findings in education and use this to inform our practice in the classroom.

Some recent studies we have taken part in have included how memory works and adapting our teaching to avoid ‘cognitive overload’.

Recently, we made use of the latest research to completely redesign our curriculum for our school.

All our teachers also take part in action research which allows them to refine and improve their practice. Our latest area of focus was maths.

We have included some links to articles that we have found particularly interesting.
